I Simply Adore......

My girls and I recently went to see my grandparents. I haven't seen them for many years and wanted to see them before they left again in Nov/Dec. I do talk about them a lot and miss dearly when they are gone. Of course, we stay in touch by email and telephone calls but it just is not the same sometimes. They decided that their calling in life was to help others. They do missionary work in Mexico and they live in a nice fifth wheel that they park in Texas. In the winter months they head south and come home to their family in May. I can not express enough how I feel about them and what giving people they are. While visiting with them I felt like I never missed a thing. They just have this warmness about them that makes you want to be a better person. When I was little I enjoyed every moment I had with them and only wish our daily schedules were not so busy that we could visit even more. I am glad that my girls got to meet them again. I think the last time we saw them Autumn was two and Ambrea was only one or two months old. Scary how time just pasts us by - life just has its way. To grandma and grandpa know that I love you and miss everyday and hope that we can see you again before you leave. Thanks for loving us and keeping us in your thoughts. Miss you already!!!!!!!

OLSON FAMILY PICNIC....

Uncle Ralph and Luanne were coming into town from Meadville, Pennsylvania to attend a class reunion. Since we only get to see them once a year, if that, Dave and I thought it would be nice to invite his side of the family out to the house. My father-in-law told Ralph about it and he thought it was a great idea. Plus, some of Dave's side has not even seen our new house. We invited everyone including cousins. Amazingly, only three cousins could not make it. I was impressed that everyone could find time to come and visit with Ralph and Luanne. Of course, I loved having everyone out here and we had terrific weather to play outside. There really is nothing better than having your family around. I, of course, took pictures and I think everyone was getting pretty use to me taking pictures. It is always a pleasure having Ralph and Luanne here to visit us. Above I have put together a little album of our day.

Frantic at this moment...

I found some extra time to sit down and put a posting in and low and behold
I can not find my camera. You heard me I can not find my camera. My heart is
just a thumping and I have torn my house apart. I made a phone call to my grand
mother to see if I by chance left it at her house as I took a pic there of them with
the girls. I have family pics on there from our family picnic and now I can't even
find the camera! I had a lot to share with my friends and here I am on a Friday night
frantic because I can not find it. Check back to see what comes of this. Sorry!

Ambrea Style.....

Alright... Now that I have tried several attempts of adding the
third picture of a very stylish Ambrea and have failed miserably
it is time to move on. Ambrea wanted me to take a few pics of
her and her new back pack for school. Ambrea, Autumn and
daddy went to get school supplies and they found this great
back pack. We all know that it is the little things that count
and make us the happiest. She wore it all day and probably
would have worn it to bed, but we did have to draw the line
somewhere. Anyways, She had a great full body shot, but like
I said before I could not get it to rotate the correct way and
it would have been a sideways shot instead which we all no would
have bugged the crap out of me. So instead, you get some cute
little head shots of her and her camo cap. Back pack well its camo
colors just not the camo pattern. It fits her.

Saturday Morning Skyline....

David had gotten up quite early Saturday morning and while looking out saw this skyline. He came in to wake me and said I think you will want to get a picture of this as when I saw it I thought of you. I thought that was sweet. So of course I dragged myself out of bed and snapped a couple pics of the early morning. Sometimes we miss the most beautiful things when we sleep in.

Just a little Corny....

I am hoping by now that my family has received a little post card in the mail with these
kids mugs on it and are smiling as they look at it. I sent out postcards of the middle pic
with the title on it "Just a little Corny..." I had this little light bulb go on while we were
eating dinner the other night and snapped their pics and said thanks for playing and went
off to Kristen's house and she having all the patients with me created this little post card
that I thought would be so funny to send to nana, papa, coley, and aunt Linda. Haven't
heard from them, but I had so many laughs just looking at the pic and seeing Ambrea's hair
that I just had to send it out. I know a little quirky, but isn't that what it all about.

LETS GO SWIMMING GIRLS....

The girls have been bugging me for about one week to take them swimming at the
public pool. We had planned it earlier and had gotten rained out. I kind of put it
on the back burner and then it came up again. I had worked a 1/2 day and when I
went to pick the girls up from my father-n-laws the first words out of Autumn's mouth
were "now we get to go swimming." I had in the back of my mind hoped they might
forget about it. No such luck. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and when we
got there Ambrea had seen her good friend from school along with her sister and they
all played around nicely. Ambrea was excited to see someone other than her sister.
But then again when you are with that person everyday you do want to see other
people out and about. I did take a really fun pic for all to see on my camera phone
and it just so happened that it really cheered my mom up as she was not having a
good day. Who says you have to send flowers all the time when a pic text works
just as well.

ROAD TRIP.........

Kristen and I have been talking about checking out some parks over in
Menomonie. She had read about them on another blog while looking at some fantastic photography. That persons pictures were awesome and we thought if we could scope the joint out we could in turn bring my girls over there and do some fun things. Well, lets just say maybe our eye was not that creative at that moment because we left a bit disappointed and mind set that we probably would not return to that area.
I did manage to take two pics of some things that I found interesting. The bridge picture was taken on part of their beautiful bike trail. We were going to walk down the path some but decided that we were limited on time. We were heading over to Wakanda Park and drove over this stone path that is part of the bike trail as well. On the way back through, Kristen stopped for me to get out and snap a pic of it. Needless to say, Kristen got back on the blog site to find out that we might have just missed that park or really needed to take that walk down the path to see some great photo opts. We now have decided - we will be going back and were taking the girls!!!! I just wanted to mention I had a great day spending time with Kristen and going out and doing something that has truly become her passion. I can't wait to get going with it as well.

Hallie Girls Softball Picnic...

At the end of the ball season there is a family picnic and where the
first place teams receive their divisional trophies. Here is Autumn
with teammate Shelby and the other with their coach Tonya and
some of the other teammates awaiting their trophy. Way to go
girls.
