DOG SITTING....

If anyone knows me, they know that I am in dog heaven as I am taking care of a mini wiener dog for a few days while his parents are having a blast in WI Dells. See I had to rid of my mini last summer as we had sold our house and then needed to live between family houses until our house was built. With the stress of that and his little piddle problem I decided he had to go. I am quickly reminded how hard it is to get anything done around the house as I can't trust him in the yard by himself with the road so close. So going outside requires me to follow. Scooby, our dog, does well and knows the rules which in turn makes it easy. On the other hand, its so nice to have a lap dog to snuggle instead of a big dog who thinks he is a lap dog. Here is some pics of our house guest - Squirt!

KUNG FU PANDA....

Okay- I forgot my camera today when we went to see Kung Fu Panda, which by the way, did have its funny moments. I do believe that I laughed more than the other adults in the movie house, but what can I say I love to laugh. I recommend this movie if you have children. Have a great day!!!!!!!

LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN.....

Most of you have heard about our Trampoline episode or seen the destruction of it on Gardow's Blog (thanks Michelle), well we are happy to say that we have redeemed ourselves and now the girls are happy once again! Yes, we now have sand bags underneath and Dave says that if we ever have weather like that again he will just anchor himself underneath of it or strap it to the 4 wheeler. Personally, I would like to see him underneath for a great photo op for blog purposes only of course. Notice Ambrea holding up two fingers to indicate that this is our second chance with a trampoline. Jump away girls!!!!! Jump away!!!!

MORE RENAISSANCE PICS....

The Gypsies were accused of stealing items from the towns people, but were proven innocent by the queen's court as it was only their own musical items.
Gypsies love children and they like to teach them to dance and put on shiny bangles and skirts that make music with a shake of a hip!
Gypsies always draw a crowd and the Queen Johanna had ordered some of her Scots to wear some of the gypsies grab and dance along!
Princess (Dane) Fiona is pouting as she lost the match against Sir Devon of York and then called out Autumn's name!
Yes! It is really called a Pizpor Show and it was very funny

WI RENAISSANCE FAIR

What an incredible day with the girls! We headed out to the Renaissance Fair this morning around 11:00 a.m. and left at 3:30ish there is just so much to see and get caught up in. I think my favorite part was watching the girls follow the fairies. That is right, Autumn and Ambrea met some fairies and received fairy dust, treasures and even got a fairy booger (sounds gross) but is was a beautiful shiny gem stone. They also met up with one of the Scots of the village and received a Dragon Tear - they were told to place the tear under their pillows at night and if they had bad dreams all of those dreams would go into the tear and upon waking up they were to put it on their window sill for the the sun to hit and take those bad dreams away so they could use the tear for the next night. Autumn talked with Princess (Dane) Fiona while she was eating and when Fiona went into the jousting arena and needed some support she called out Autumn's name and named her the Guard of the ICKY BOYS!!! Autumn was pleased. We met up with the Gypsy's and the girls put on some of their garb and learned how to dance like the gypsy's and then had fun playing with the finger chimes and making music! We sat in on the "Its a Pizpor Show" and watched magic and laughed at all their jokes. There is just so much more that we did, but to much to write. Enjoy the pics as this is our second summer outing that we had planned to do with the girls.

Backyard Bunker....

Dave put up a bunker in our backyard over this past weekend. Autumn was suppose to have a game tonight, but since it has rained so much they cancelled it due to the fields being to wet. Dave decided it would be a great time for all of us to get out there and practice. See this year I will get another deer... I just need to strengthen up a bit so that maybe I can pull back a few more pounds. Notice which pics I took and which one Dave took. Wanted all of us to have a cool shot of us and the target, but I can't complain, at least I am in a pic and not behind the camera. Autumn is working at shooting from 15 yards this year and Ambrea will start shooting this year with the bow that Autumn started with (it is in storage at the moment). That means we will all be heading out to the bow club for some serious shooting!

A little family girl time....

We decided since the boys went over to visit my dad's "doghouse" (looks nothing like a dog house) us girls would take advantage of some fun time with the camera's (my mom just got a new digital camera - simple to use or she won't use it - thanks aunt Linda). This is just the beginning of the fun we had, but I thought I would share some of them with you all. The first pic shown is a generation picture. Love these as it brings you back to where it all started - FAMILY! lol

A Kindergarten Grad....

So this morning it hit me - you are looking at your baby and telling her how proud you are of making it through her kindergarten year! It is bitter sweet as in my heart of hearts this little girl is just finding her way and this is just one of the chapters she is writing! She is so loved by all and her daddy and I are so very proud of her accomplisments of finding the better side of herself and just wanting to make others happy. And every once in while just finding something to say to bring you to tears with laughter.

6 years old......

So dad says...."There are no more 5 year olds in this house" and Ambrea says.."you are right."I miss her five year old days already (ha!)! As you notice there are three people blowing out the cake with Ambrea and that is because she is very lucky to celebrate two other birthdays in the same week. Her aunt Coley's is 6/3, Ambrea's is 6/7, and her nana's is 6/8. So this cake had all of there names on it. Autumn helped me find the right cake - it needed to be bright and cheerful! I think she did a great job. As always, we had everyone over to the house for a picnic-style birthday and what did the weather have in store for us - RAIN! Why of course!!! Happy Birthday Ambrea! Oh yeah and a shout out to Maddie G. for her Birthday too - love ya girl!!!!

Lake Fair - Lake Wissota State Park

So our summer activities have officially started with the Lake Fair on 6/8/08! Some of activities
included rod building, casting instruction, frog cookie decorating, fish t-shirt painting, and
takle crafting. The weather held out for the event - it was nice to be out and about with the girls!

What's happening around the house....

We have been working very hard around our house trying to get it to look like something of a home from the outside view. I have to say thank you to all that have given me their over grown perinnels. It has saved on the pocket book some. There will always be something more to get, but for now its all about enjoying it. You can also see on some of the pics that my grass is coming in. Now if that isn't a pain to try and keep up with. I just want my yard so we can walk bare footed. I will keep you posted as to what else is happening around the house.
